International Students Education Bridge (ISEB) is based in Toronto, Ontario, and is registered with the Government of Canada. We are living in a modern era where technology has made the global exchange of knowledge and information available at our fingertips. However, despite these advancements, the reality is there are millions of children living without education. The goal of ISEB is to minimize the education gap in developing areas of the world. The majority of children in our focus communities do not have access to education, which results in a cycle of poverty and a lower quality of life.
Our aim at ISEB Toronto is to minimize the gap of accessibility to education for minority community children. We provide our students with skilled and trained educational promoters who teach a set of courses. We currently offer 10 weeks course and other skills development programs. These courses are aimed at developing and strengthening a variety of skills, such as their confidence in reading; writing; and oral presentation skills. The course topics are relevant to our community needs, such as what is Humanity; the importance of thank you; how to improve one’s reading skills; and one’s responsibility to their neighbours. After the completion of ISEB Toronto Courses, our students are presented with certifications, gifts, and cash prizes. We offer the above mentioned because we not only want to keep our students engaged; we want to reward them for their effort and growth. ISEB trains students in 5C: Choice, Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Creativity.
ISEB is a diverse and inclusive organization, we create a learning place where every learner can achieve their full potential. We all have a role to play in this. Greater accessibility means greater opportunity for our organization.
Everyone is unique and we all have something to contribute. What works for one person may not work for others. Remember, we are all unique individuals, with individual needs and we all have different roles in our community. Everyone should feel valued, respected, and supported.
